The Glory Singers, a 19 member praise band, currently has a CD in production here. They’re commuting from the Quad Cities, and trying to work with the work and school schedules of the members. As I’m writing this post, they have 2 dates on next week’s calendar and those sessions should yield three more recordings.

The group consists of people from Rwanda, Tanzania, and the Congo. They sing in Swahili, heartfelt praise songs that are inspiring and beautiful even for those of us who don’t speak Swahili. I love listening to the African idioms that give their music incredible life.

I am going to post one song that is near completion. I would say that the mix on this one is close, if not final. Notice the different sections that add to the musical story.
